Roxy系列中別樹一幟的Reggae Club─ROOT，與座落於信義區眾多夜店最大的不同是─我們擇以台灣最知名的優質樂團為一整晚的熱舞揭開序幕，Roots的星期三熱舞日，我們邀請到知名吉他手--大衛福斯特，為您帶來一系列忘情流連的曲目，舒服的小週末夜晚，接連還有著名的Roxy系列DJ呈現震撼舞池的派對音樂，這場難得的派對，千萬不要錯過！就在盛夏夜晚中最亮眼的夜店據點－Roxy Roots。

樂手簡介

1979年出生於南非開普敦的歌手/創作者大衛．佛斯特(Dawid Vorster)是個有著天賦及熱情的表演者，他的民謠搖滾作品帶有藍調的興味，熟練的民謠吉他技巧及強而有力的歌聲都是他過去及現在對音樂最純真的愛， 大衛已經發行了兩張完整的專輯，目前正在為明年即將發行的個人第三張專輯進行編曲。

The most unique one among all the Roxy branches─ROOTS, is a Reggae club. We feature Reggae, ska, Latin..to rock the dance floor.Among all the clubs around Xin-Yi District, ROOTS stands out conspicuously with an opening of the famous band in Taiwan to hype the crowd, and comes to the fore with the passionate and vigorous music.

This coming Wednesday ROOTS has invited the famous guitarist─Dawid Vorest to share some jazz infused acoustic rock to bring you a cozy early night. After that, the distinquished Roxy DJ selection is going to present a crazy night to party on! It is a great chance to shake your body and get high!

Introduction

South African singer/songwriter Dawid Vorster is a gifted and passionate performer who writes jazz infused acoustic rock with definite blues influence. His songs, dexterity on the acoustic guitar and strong vocals are all the product of a wide range of experiences and an ever-present, undiluted love of music. He has written, recorded and released two full length albums, and is finalising musical arrangements for his third, which is to be released later this year.

Serving Chinese food during 11-14:00 for lunch and from 17-21:30 for dinner. Also serving Caribbean & Western style food from 22:00pm - 4am.
